What We Make

When two art majors start a farm, it isn’t long before creative things start to happen. We aren’t content to just grow great plants, we like to add handmade products into the farm mix. Teresa focuses on the flowers and herbs, creating a wide assortment of products out of lavender, catnip and lots of fresh and dried flowers. Packy has found an outlet for both his woodworking skills and his fascination with birds and bats by constructing species specific bird boxes and bat houses to help provide much needed nesting habitat for local wildlife.

We get lots of help from friends and family who pitch in whenever they can to help make Ostman Farm a success, like Packy’s mom Lupe, who sews all of our lovely sachets for us. Find out more about our Farm Friends here.
